Review
For many years the Champ Car World Series was one of the best open-wheel championships in North America and the whole world. With races in many countries and top-class drivers, the series gained a huge following. After their deliberation, the owners of Champ Car decided to use a unified Panoz chassis for the 2005 season. The car proved to be very quick as well as having a good-looking chassis. It was just matter of time for the rFactor mod community to bring the series to the simulator, and iDT has done this.
iDT has been a well-known mod developer since F1 Challenge days. Their expertise is shown in this mod. First of all, the way the cars looks is amazing, graphically one of the best mods in rFactor. But it's not only that, the handling and the power you feel on your racing wheel is something from another world. The mod includes the 2005 and 2006 seasons of Champ Car, along with all the liveries that raced through those years. Fans of the CCWS need to look no further; this mod is one of IDT's best. |
